He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a retired Baptist minister having served many local churches in the area.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joyce M. Drummond; son, James Ray (Jamie) Drummond and his wife, Sherry; daughter, Lisa Drummond Moosman; grandson, Phillip Reddish; granddaughter, Kathy Anne Reddish.
Pallbearers will be Robert Drummond, Danny Dean, Shannon Vincent, Kenneth Vincent, Sam Williams, and Warren Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
