When I was a kid, my brother and I would accompany my grandmother to Westside Baptist Church, where Rev Penny Drummond served at the time. I have very fond memories of those times and of how kind he was. My grandmother really appreciated him, as well.

Joyce, You and the family are in my prayers. Bro Penny is kn heaven enjoying being in the presence of the Lord. Many are there welcomiing him because Bro Penny helped them make that most important decision in their life. Joyce, you and Bro Penny were there for me from the time I was 8 years old until I married at age 21. You both played an very important role in my life. We will miss Bro. Penny! Love you very much.

Bro. Penny Drummond was a wonderful man of God. It was my joy to be his pastor for a few years at Mt. Olive. I treasure the times I got to visit with him and Mrs. Joyce in their home. Prayers and blessings to Joyce, the children and grandchildren who I know he loved with all his heart. "Enter in the joy of the Lord, friend!"

When I Wae A Teanager, I Attended Westside Baptist Church. Brother Penny Was The Pastor There. I Will Never Forget The Sunday Night That I Was Saved. The Message Brother Penny Was Preaching, Made Me Realize I Needed God In My Life. I Could Feel The Presence Of God There That Night And He Was Knocking At My Hearts Door For Me To Let Him In. Brother Penny Was A Blessing And Inspiration To All The Young People That Went To Church There. He Has Now Excepted His Reward For All The Work He Has Done For God Here On This Earth. Rest In Peace Brother Penny,Until We All Meet Again Someday In Heaven. To Joyce, Jamie And Lisa, My Prayers Are With You All, May God Comfort You Through The Days To Come. With Love Always, Shirley.
