Obituary of Gerald D. Wesley

Funeral service for Gerald D. Wesley 57, of Talladega, will be Sunday, March 22, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home. Rev. Martin Murray , Rev. Albert Pike and Rev. Bryan Camp will officiate and burial will be in Stockdale Baptist Cemetery, Munford AL. His family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Wesley passed away March 19, 2015 in East Alabama Medical Center Opelika, Alabama Mr. Wesley was a native and lifelong resident of Chandler Springs and a member of Chandler Springs Baptist Church. He was retired from AIDB, a Little League Baseball Coach, and an avid Alabama Fan. Survivors include wife, Diane Wesley, daughter, Shannon (Steve) Thomas, son, Jared (Allison) Wesley, daughter, Ginger (Derick) Robinson, 9 grandchildren, Abigail, Kaeman, Kamlyn, Jack, Addie Brooke, Pate, Wesley, Samantha, and AnnaBelle, brother, Donald (Anita) Wesley, Numerous neices and nephews Pallbearers will be Mike Knight, Franklin Horn, Stan Brooks, Donald Harris, Dwight Harris, Andy Hayden, Fred Jenkins, and Bud Camp. Honorary pallbearers will be Clay County HS class of 1975. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Chandler Springs Baptist Church, 420 Chandler Springs Road, Talladega, AL 35160.
