My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. May you find comfort from the promises made by our loving Father. Psalm 34:18 says he is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. Revelation 21:4 mentions a time when He will wipe all our tears away and death and sorrow and pain will be no more. May these thoughts from the Bible bring you hope.

Diane, My heart is breaking right now. I understand what you are going through and know that no words will ease your pain. Only God's comfort and love will get you through this. Gerald was a dear friend; I remember when I was just a toddler, going to Sue & Glenn's house with Moma & Daddy. He was a good man and those memories will keep you going. Please know you and the kids and grandkids are in my prayers always. If you EVER need to talk or just scream or cry...you call me. I love you, my friend.
