Stanford Anthony Hartdegen Obituary

Stanford Anthony Pierce Gerard Hartdegen, 88, of Talladega, AL passed away November 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Stan was a loving husband and father, a man strong in heart, mind, and conviction. Most importantly, Stan was a man with an amazing love and respect for God and belief in Jesus Christ. His children describe him as someone with stalwart character and integrity. Although very humble in nature he leaves a meaningful legacy.

He served as a board member for ARC of North Talladega County, receiving the award for “Board Member of the Year” in 2013. The 46th Sunshine Saturday was dedicated to Stan

in 2022, for dedication and meritorious service. He served as a board member for Talladega Housing Authority, Hall of Heroes, and Heritage Hall Museum.
