Dear, dear Darlo, my heart was sadden to hear of Stan's death even though I had heard he had not been feeling well. He will be sorely missed by ALL who knew him--Stan so respected, appreciated and loved by the ones who were blessed that their paths crossed. I thank him (you) for genuine care when our Angi entered Heaven and then, when my Lance went to his Heavenly home. Lance respected his wisdom and input into the business of FBC, Talladega--loved working on a few together AND, that they were four months different in age (1936). Stan was blessed with the gift of making others feel better just by asking how they were doing--he listened. May God give to you His comfort, peace and strength for today and the days following, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
Liz Grissett and family
(Sorry I won't be with you during Stan;s service tomorrow since, as you know, I live out-of-state)
