Anytime I would Visit we would always sit on the couch and talk about one of two things. It was either Sports (specifically Alabama) or we spoke about God. Gene helped me a many of times and always had a smile on his face. We use to always joke and I would tell him I am keeping Tyler on the straight and Narrow and he would always respond with something like, Thats gonna be a chore. In closing, he was an excellent man, and I seen him as my pawpaw just as much as everyone that tyler brought around.
