Big pop and i shared a birthday. Every year our family has to group together birthdays because we just have so many, but pop and i shared the day.
He and i were both may 9th birthdays. I usually took the time to sit with hin those days for a little while longer. We'd talk about knives and woodworking.
Pop was the handiest of men and it was always easy to talk to him about workin in the trades or how youd fix somethin. It always suprised me, the problem could be odd or highly texhnical and he'd have a fix for it.
Gonna miss your knowledge and gentle soul.
