Obituary of Debra Jean Sweetland

Debra Jean Sweetland,66, of Munford, AL passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Mrs. Sweetland was born in Wisconsin was raised in Texas for most of her life. She was an avid reader who enjoyed frequent visits to the local library and crocheting the coziest blankets. She had a soft spot for animals and could never turn away a stray. Mrs. Sweetland was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her children and siblings dearly, but she especially loved her grandchildren who were the center of her world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Jean Sweetland. Mrs. Sweetland is survived by her sons, Daniel Ricks (Katlyn), Timothy Ricks, Jonathan Ricks (Kayla), and Benjamin Ricks; grandchildren, Aubree, Rilee, Landon, Harper, Braylon, Peyton, Easton, Saxson, Bellamy, and Slater Ricks; brothers, Kevin Sweetland and Brian Sweetland, and sister, Suzie Sweetland.
