I am an old neighbor of Debra when she lived in Houston, Texas. I was a young mother when the Sweetlands moved next door. I stepped over to meet them and I was instantly smitten by her wonderful parents, Jean and Roger. From that moment, we became great friends and became very involved in each other’s families. Debra was the oldest child and a ball of energy! I remember her wonderful laugh. She was truly a bright spot and it was clear that her family adored her. Wow, where does the time go! I never thought I would be writing about Debra. Her mother, Jean, passed suddenly as well. My memories of this remarkable family are overwhelming and I just want to say that each one, including Debra, were incredibly fun and loving.
I continue to think of her and her family every time I look at their house. This house was full of so many wonderful memories! I send my love and heartfelt condolences to each of Debra’s family members!
