My deepest condolences to the Snyder family. Command Sergeant Major Snyder was a wonderful, effective and thoughtful leader. I had the honor to serve with him in Kentucky when the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit deployed there in 1990. Anita Riddle, Draper, Utah.

So sorry to hear of Thad’s passing. I met Thad at a Debate Club meeting at Mr Kent’s house when I was attending High School. Thad was such a kind wonderful man. I remember seeing him around town when I would visit Talladega. He always remembered me and had nice things to say. He was a man that genuinely cared about people. Sending prayers to all he left behind. I know he will be missed by all that knew him!

Thad was such a sweet soul. I loved being with him & Susan at church every week. When they moved I was genuinely upset & have really missed them.
Thad was easy to talk to & he cared. He would always ask me about work & my week & I could be completely open with him (& precious Susan) without judgement. I feel such a blessing to have known him.
I love you Susan & I pray for comfort.

We honor our dear brother in Christ, Thad, who lived a life of dedication, service, and unwavering faith.
Thad's priorities were always clear: his love for Jesus Christ guided every step he took, whether serving his country in the Army or protecting his communities as a police officer.
He was a shining example of a life lived for the Lord, always putting Christ first and foremost. Susan was the love of his life, and she will be comforted by knowing his love for her is everlasting.
Though we grieve your loss, we do not say goodbye, but rather, "See you again" in the presence of our Savior in Heaven.
As we remember Thad’s steadfast faith, we hold onto the words of 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
May God bless you, Thad, and keep you safe and close to Him.

It was my honor to have shared the instructor roster with both Thad Snyder and John Smith, both fine men who served our nation and the State of Alabama.
I proudly worked alongside Thad for several years at The US Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, AL. The knowledge that Thad shared with so many of our nation’s First Responders following the World Trade Center attack on America, was invaluable and I will forever be honored to have known both Thad and John. God Bless them.
