Regina was more like a mother than an aunt to my daughters Rachel, Shelby, and Brianna. They shared a multitude of adventures to Disney World, Cherokee North Carolina white water rafting and tubing; Gatlinburg Tennessee hiking, wading in the streams, Cades Cove exploring, horseback riding, and playing games; Panama City Beach Florida playing in the ocean, night crab hunting, and playing putt putt golf; hayrides, egg hunts, Christmas Eve midnight communion, youth programs at church, and school events. They shared secrets, dreams, recipes, making cookies, and making matching sweatshirts for Christmas and Easter. Regina loved my daughters and my grandchildren like they were hers… and they loved her! Regina was a bridesmaid in my wedding and became another sister. We never had a fight. Well maybe one when she took Rachel at 2 weeks old from church to grandma’s house over the railroad tracks in her lap (not in a car seat). There isn’t a vacation spot or a place in Boswell Holler without wonderful memories with Regina. Forty nine years with her is not enough. Thank you for all of your love and for being a huge part of our lives. We love you through eternity!
