Huey Vann Logan Obituary
Huey Vann Logan, known to family and friends simply as "Vann," passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Kevin Jones officiating.
Born in Talladega, Alabama, to John C. Logan Jr. and Evelyn Elizabeth Goggans, Vann lived a life filled with warmth and dedication to his family with he demonstrated through his selfless act of becoming the primary caregiver to both of his parents in the later years of their lives.
Vann is survived by his loving niece, Debbie Denise Walton (Greg), and his dear nephews, John Charlton Logan III (Laura), Samuel David Logan, and Michael Paul Logan (Jennifer). He was devoted to his two beloved goddaughters, Melissa Turner and Marci Wilson (Chad).
Vann also leaves behind many great-nephews and great-nieces including: John Baird, Beth Baird, Charlton Logan IV, Ana Logan, Gabby Logan, Nicholas Logan, Samuel Logan, Parker Logan, Cooper Logan, and Henry Logan. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he was a constant source of love, wisdom, and support to his family.
Though he is no longer with us, Vann’s legacy of love and kindness will live on through the lives of all who knew him. His family will forever hold his memory close, grateful for the time they shared with him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choosing in his honor, a reflection of the generosity that defined his life.
