My dear sweet brother, my heart is broken and I’m going to miss you, but I’m so thankful you are not suffering. I’m also thankful for the day we met you which was Mother’s Day in 1975 at the PuttPutt Golf course on South Cobb Drive in Marietta Ga and you immediately became a part of our family. We made many wonderful memories through the years with you and our girls (1975-2024) on Cherrywood Lane, at the farm, at Nascar events, having shaving cream or cool whip pie fights, water balloon battles, making phone calls at 3:00 AM to Snow White & Mayor McCheese, you and Tommy playing ping pong by a strobe light, hanging out and just being together. There are way too many to list but wherever we were, we had fun. Oh the memories I will carry with me every day as tears run down my face and I am forever grateful to call you the Brother I never had. I already miss you terribly but I know you’re up in Heaven with our families and are waiting on us to get there. So wait patiently by the gate and we’ll be there too when God call our name. Lord, please hug my brother and let him know it’s from me.
