Mr. Leonard Watson Turner, 77, of Odenville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Mr. Turner served our nation in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant. He served two tours during the Vietnam War. He also served as a deacon for over forty years. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his sister, Terry Sue Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Donna Turner; sons, Dewayne Turner (Kimberlee) and Kevin Turner (Lori); grandchildren, Drew Turner (Brenna), Brett Turner (Elise), Abigail Turner, Natalie Turner, and Olivia Turner; great-grandson, Hudson Turner; brother, Billy Ray Turner; and sisters, Betty Lewis, Margaret Caine, and Carolyn Frost. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. A funeral service will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, with Bro. Vint Arnold officiating. A committal service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Alabama National Cemetery. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
