Josephine E. “Josie” Williams, 94, of Talladega, AL passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Funeral services will be Friday, August 18, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega at 11:00 am. Interment will follow immediately after at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Glenn Horn and Mitchell Jacobs will officiate the services. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am one hour prior to services. Josie is survived by a brother, Bo Williams (Judy), and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her parents: Sam (Buck) and Maebelle (Bell) Williams, brother: Howard Williams, sister: Lula Mae Taylor and great nephew Joey Williams. Pallbearers will be Trae Williams, Rip Williams, Mitchell Jacobs, Keith Williams, Jeremy Taylor, and Buddy Dean. Ms. Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. She was a member of Bemiston United Methodist Church and was retired from Bemis Bag Co. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bemiston United Methodist Church Building Fund.
