I lived in Bemiston 1999-2002, and Miss Josie was one of the first to welcome me there. She was always smiling and warm, always hugged me.
I visited Bemiston United Methodist Church off and on
after I moved away, for special events and singings, and she was always there, always smiling, always hugging. She always made me feel special and welcome.
I miss her, but know for sure she is in a much better place! She was one of the few genuine people, one of the few truly loving people in this world, and her passing surely leaves a big void. But her memory will continue to warm hearts.
