We became friends with Jimmy in the 1970’s through Clay County Farm Bureau. He was always a kind and caring friend. We are blessed to have known him.

Jimmy was a classmate and friend. Didn’t see him much after high school graduation except at class reunions. A great guy who loved people and having fun! Guess our next class reunion will be in Heaven and glad to know Jimmy will be there. My prayers are with the family.

Martha, John and I are so sorry to hear about Jimmy's passing. I remember first meeting you and Jimmy at Bob and Sid Renfro's. You both make an everlasting impression because that was almost 20 years ago. High Pointe has never been the same since you and Jimmy moved. We've missed you so much, but look forward to some future catchup time in heaven.

We loved Jimmy. He had the most wonderful sense of humor. Jimmy will be remembered for his kindness and giving spirit to others, mainly the little old ladies at church.
Love,

I remember when I was a little girl my mom took me to Mr Norreds house to Trick or Treat. He always has his yard decorated. One time I tripped over a cord and all the lights went out. Lol. Mr Norred had to fix it

Jimmy was a hero and friend. He was brother of Mary James Norred Harris, married to my uncle Gene. Jimmy was great man-loved all, and would give you time, friendship, and shirt off of his back. Prayers to family-especially Martha-

From the first time I met Jimmy, we were friends. We shared a love of God, Alabama football and family. He gave the best hugs, and always had a smile on his face. My life is better having known him. I know he leaves a big hole in his family’s life. Martha, you took such good care of him, and I know he loved you dearly. Isn’t it a blessing to know we’ll see him again? Goodbye Sweet Jimmy ❤️

Jimmy & I worked for Farm Bureau until it began Alfa. As our field man he was in & out of the office with that big ole smile. Always with a positive attitude and full of mischief & laughter.
I remember the Halloween decorations at the house. They were the best.
The day he hosted the Campbell district CSRs at your house. We had such a great day.
His joy in life, his love of family and his church... Jimmy, may your joy of being in the presence of the Lord surpass all your expectations.
