Julia Haynes Gaither,89, of Talladega passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sunday, May 07, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega at 2:00 pm. Her family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Her much beloved nephew, Rusty Stephens will officiate the service.
Mrs. Gaither is survived by one daughter, Genie Gaither (Richard)Jones; two sisters, Rosa McWilliams and JoAnn Fambrough; one brother, Ted Haynes, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gaither was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Eugene Gaither, and her parents, Willie P. and Sarah Haynes.
Mrs. Gaither was a native of Munford, Alabama and a resident of Talladega. She was a member of Munford Church of Christ and was retired from the Georgia Public School System.
