Loved to hear him play music. Little John was one of a kind, he could tell them stories and play music. He was such a joy to be around. I'm going to share a story about Little John and my daddy John Henry Richardson. They were out working on Valentine's Day and stopped at this restaurant to eat. They had a special at the restaurant for Valentine's so the waitress told them it was 2 steak dinners for the price of one for couples. Little John said me and John Henry will have that we're together, we're a couple. The waitress was a little shocked but got the dinners for them. I loved to hear that story and any other ones that he told. We've laughed about it for years. He will be missed greatly, love and prayers to the family, from Sandra, Ginger and Kelly Richardson and John Henry in Heaven.

Sorry to hear that Little John has passed. We always enjoyed his stories, friendship, and music at the Jim Banks family reunions where he played with numerous people including my husband, Robert "Bob" Banks. Bob and Little John were cousins. He will be missed. With love and sympathy. Blanche and family
