Graveside service for Jane S. Bates, 78, of Talladega will be Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery. Brother Ronnie Hurst will officiate. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mrs. Bates passed away November 19, 2014 at Citizens BMC.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Bates.
Mrs. Bates was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She retired from The City of Talladega Board of Education and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Greg Bates and Gary Bates, grandsons, Derek Bates, Michael Bates and Hunter Bates, brother, Jerry Stone (Janice), nephews, Brad Stone (Renee), Brian Stone (Helen) and Brandon Stone.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
