I came to know Mrs. Bates after becoming employed with the Talladega City School System as a special education teacher. She was one of the sweetest, funniest, secretaries/ladies I have ever come in contact with. I came to know her husband in later years as he drove the buses for this school system. I would ask him about her whenever I saw him. My prayers and thoughts are with your family. God Bless !!!! F. Barnes

What a great person! I worked with Jane at Talladega City Schools. I always looked forward to Jane's view on whatever was going happening. She could turn situations around that were otherwise difficult and make them funny. She will be missed. Thank for the time you shared her with us at Talladega City Schools.
