I worked with Mark at UAB the past few years, and he was always a delight! Kind and intelligent, he was willing to help anyone who asked and could always tell if someone needed cheering up. I enjoyed conversing with him over interesting finds in the local supermarkets and discussing books! Mark made this world a bright and better place, and he will be sorely missed.
