Randy "Big Red" played a roll in getting my husband & I dating when I was a teenager. He and Mike would sit at Hill Tops store and visit with me when I stopped to get something from the store. Randy was already hanging out with my parents (Polly & Billy Bentley) at Dad's garage or riding on muddy roads and sharing stories while drinking beers. Mike asked 'Big Red' if he thought he should date me...Randy 'Big Red' told him he'd be crazy not to...That's not the exact quote, I cleaned it up for this note. Randy was such a part of our dating world and both of our families, that Mike asked him to be the best man at our wedding!
I have several other stories that I could share...I even have a very grannie picture of when 'Big Red' wrestled with a bear. I hate that after getting married, we let our friendships slip away... Take time to say hello to friends/loved ones because tomorrow is not promised to anyone of us. Thank you God for the time our family had with wonderful friend Randy 'Big Red' Weaver!
