Talladega – Timothy Martin Pitts, 48, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Funeral service will be on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home with interment to follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Jeff Rutledge officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday.
Tim was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a former police officer for city of Talladega and currently for city of Oxford. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he loved his precious granddaughter, Aubrey.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Pitts; sons, Austin Pitts (Savannah), Nick Pitts; granddaughter, Aubrey Pitts; brother, Anthony Pitts (Niki); sister, Stephanie Irvin (Jason); parents, Larry and Debbie Pitts; uncle, Jimmy Pitts; niece, Ally Pitts; nephews, Dalton Pitts, Andrew Pitts, Dustin Irvin, and Ethan Irvin.
Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Madine Pitts, John and Nonnie Gaither.
Pallbearers will be Oxford Police Department.
Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct services.
