Douglas Franklin "Bro. Doug" Ford, 95, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on February 24, 2021 in Birmingham.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Mildred, and his son-in-law, Randy Cox.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn (Ed) Rose and Becky Cox; sons, Steve (Deb) Ford, Danny (Patsy) Ford, Tim Ford and Sam (Steph) Ford; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great- grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Hardin's Chapel Bible Church with Bro. Roger Kendrick and Bro. Ed Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 pm until 3:00 pm at the church.
In accordance with the current Covid 19 precautions the family requests that masks be worn by everyone in attendance.
