Brother Ford was a blessing to all the hospitals he visited. Reminded us of the importance of humble service and care to our neighbors. The simplest words and kind touch that reveal that people care about you has such a powerful effect on someone in need. Many times I left a hospital room pleased that someone was improving from a difficult illness to find Brother Ford praying in the waiting room with a worried family. There are a few people in the world that just being in their presence makes you want to be a better neighbor, friend and person.
