Beverly and Allison, I just happened upon your FB page tonight to find that your sweet sister Susan has gone to be with the Lord. I am so shocked and so sad for your whole family. If you remember, your grandmother Louise was/is still my "spiritual mother", who prayed me into the Kingdom. She included me in your family for all the ten years I knew her, when you girls were young and still living at home or just getting married. I know our dear Louise was there to greet Susan at the gates of Heaven, along with Jesus, of course. Your Susan definitely left her mark on this world. I wish we had all kept in touch.

I still remember fondly meeting Marnie and Susan in San Francisco for lunch while they were there for a conference. Susan was quiet, a little shy, or maybe that was me, but then she'd laugh and joke around and it was easy to see, in one brief meeting, what a warm-hearted and loving person she was. I am so glad I got to have lunch with her and wish I had hung out with her more at Disney. I am thankful I was able to spend more time with her and Marnie at their home and going with her to dye her hair pink that one day -- these are the memories I'll hold in my heart when I think of Susan.

Susan, you are beautiful, caring, and I am so glad I was able to meet you and hang out with you a few times. Be free and at peace.

Susan was a wonderful friend and mentor. She was instrumental in my open heart training as a scrub nurse at, what was then, Crawford Long Hospital. What a great team we had! Now, our hearts are broken, but our memories of you will help us heal.
My thoughts and prayers to the Browne and Adair families. May the memories you hold of Susan in your hearts give you strength and comfort.

RIP, dear Susan. I'm so glad I got to meet you when you and Marnie were on your road trip a few years ago and stopped in to see me. It was a honor to meet and know you.

Susan was an example, even to those of us who were not fortunate to know her especially well, of how to live with joy, gratitude, kindness and grace. May she live on in the emulation of those qualities that made such a far reaching impact on all who knew her in life. Deepest condolences and prayers of comfort to all her loved ones.

I’ve loved Susan such a long time. She was loving, thoughtful, and so much fun! Two things come to mind when I think of Susan: first, her smile! She smiled often, and always brightened the room with her giggle. I also think of her love and devotion to family. I know she is with her family in Heaven today. I’m very grateful that I knew Susan. My love and condolences to all who loved her.

Dear Marnie and all of Susan's loved ones, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was fortunate to have met Susan through shared membership in an online community as well as in person (sadly only once in person). We also felt a common kinship as RNs. Susan's beautiful spirit and courage will always be remembered in my heart.

Sending all our love to you all at this difficult time. You are in our thoughts. We were all so blessed to have Susan in our lives and we’ve shared some special times with Susan on both sides of the Atlantic. For that, we are truly grateful. Love from Gail & Fraser Xxx
