Obituary of Marilyn Frances Blackburn

Marilyn Frances Blackburn 71, died peacefully at home. Thursday, March 22,with her daughters, Paige and Heidi at her side. After many years of illness, she is healed and at peace with Jesus.

She was a beautician for 25 years. She worked at Elsies Beauty Shop and at Alice In  Styleland . She owned and operated her own shop,”Marilyns  Beauty Salon” on the square in Talladega until she closed due to illness in 1979. She loved her shop and all of her customers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie L. Wheeles and Ola F. Churchill.

She is survived by her daughters Paige M. Wooten and Heidi B. Martin (Randy) and her two grandsons, her pride and joy: Tanner D. Martin (Brook) and Sam B. Whitten.

The family would like to thank Lakeside Hospice for their special care and support during her illness.

The family will receive friends on Saturday March 24, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
