Obituary of Charles Jason Liggan

Mr. Charles Jason Liggan, 45, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on March 7, 2018 in Birmingham.

Mr. Liggan was a 1990 graduate of Ragland High School where he was class president. He received a degree in Political Science from Jacksonville State University where he served as president of Kappa Alpha. He then received his Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law after which he practiced law in Birmingham.

He is survived by his mother, Regina J. Boswell; father, Charles Willard Liggan (Belle); sisters, Gina Merritt (Tommy) and Millie Liggan; grandmother, Frances Boswell; and by his nephews, Sawyer (Kirsty), Stoney and Shepard Merritt.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday March 10, 2018 at Ragland Methodist Church with the Rev. Ben Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00 am at the church.
