I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Baker family. Losing a loved one is never easy. However, the Bible offers us a wonderful hope in that we will see these precious ones again soon (John 5:28,29). May the god of all comfort strengthen you during this most difficult time.

My heart goes out to each member of your family and J.W.'s many
friends. I pray you will be comforted at this sad time and in the
days ahead.
For J.W. its only just begun. His life well lived will truly be
rewarded.
I have a lot of respect for this gentleman. He was a great pillar
of our wonderful community and his friendship and knowledge
will be greatly missed.

Condolences to the Baker Family...
We have many special memories of J W from the years enjoyed with him in
the Bemiston community. There are few who did more to preserve the history
of this small community, a place that our families dearly loved. He was a very
helpful friend and will be greatly missed. God Bless!

As a new comer to Bemiston we missed seeing her in her prime. Master Brand was already well ensconced, but we had the good fortune to buy a home just up the street from JW.
Many were the times I would sit and visit with him, and listen to his stories of Bemiston. I too was honored to visit his basement museum. When our kids visited at Christmas time they too got to see the artifacts and hear the tales.
What a blessing! It is because of JW that Julie and I feel like we have lived here forever. He helped build in us a sense of community.
He was a great guy!
