Funeral service for Carole Fulmer Boyce, 70 of Talladega will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at The First United Methodist Church of Talladega. Rev. Minnie Bailey and Rev. Ted Peterson will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 pm at the church. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mrs. Boyce passed away November 3, 2016 at Grandview Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mary Fulmer, brother, and Kenneth Fulmer. Mrs. Boyce was a native and longtime resident of Talladega and a member of The First United Methodist Church of Talladega. She served as President of the Hill Toppers Group. She was an excellent cook. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Boyce, daughter, Shannon Darby, stepchildren, Cynthia Porche, Robert Armbrester, and Alicia Baisch, grandchildren, Skyler Shaddix, Colton Carr, great-granddaughter, Lyric Wilcox, special niece, Beth Gerhardt, brother, Patrick Fulmer, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brantley Gerhardt, Scott Carr, Wayne Boyce, Gary Fountain, Roger Slater and Kevin Porche. Flowers will be accepted of memorials may be sent to The Kate Clardy Scholarship Fund at The First United Methodist Church of Talladega. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com
