My heart is breaking. Mawmaw Sanders was just that, another Mawmaw to me. When Crystal & I met & became best friends in 2001 Mawmaw welcomed me into the family with open arms. I loved that she considered me one of her own. Our thoughts & prayers are with everyone. She will be greatly missed. I know she is enjoying her time in heaven spoiling Vicky, Justin, & Jennifer. I will treasure the memories I have of such a precious lady. I love each of you.

Conflicting emotions rolled through me when I heard of Aunt Geraldine's passing; a large part of me sad, because she will be greatly missed, but also rejoicing in her entry into heaven and hearing those words from Jesus that we all long to hear: "Well done, my good and faithful servant", and knowing that we will see her again some day. She lived her life with grace and humility and set a wonderful example for those of us that were privileged to know her and call her family. Summer summed up Aunt Geraldine to a tee.. Diane, Gail, Randall & Wade and families, know that we love you and you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love you!

One of my favorite people of all time, Aunt Geraldine was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. She is and will always be legendary to our family -- not just for her quick wit and fried apple pies (although both were delightful!) but for living out a true model of the Proverbs 31 woman. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, niece and aunt, she brought profound honor to every one of those titles by how faithfully and selflessly she cared for her family. Just as amazing is the great courage, grace and faith with which she weathered personal tragedy, deep grief, sickness and trials of every kind, more than any one soul should ever endure. As sad as I was to hear the news this morning of her passing, my next thought was what a beautiful family reunion she's enjoying now with all those she loved and lost too soon! Aunt Geraldine lived much of her life with one foot in heaven, and now she's dancing on both with Jesus... and Uncle Buster, Vicky, Justin and Jennifer, her parents, brothers and so many more... what a welcome party she had at heaven's gate! Emma Geraldine Sanders truly was more precious than rubies and pearls. Not only her wonderful children but everyone privileged to know her will rise up and call her blessed. Diane, Gail, Randall and Wade, our love and prayers are with you all and your families. God bless you.
