Great memories of Uncle Dick. He gave me my first job, helping him with surveys. I will never forget his example of how a man should put God first in everything you do.

Dick was a very special man. His love for music was "catching". I thoroughly enjoyed playing the dulcimer with the Mt. Pisgah Pickers and especially enjoyed his harmonica. Now Dick is experiencing first hand all those wonderful songs we played and sang about heaven. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and will be missed greatly. Praying for you all in the days ahead. Jane and Jerome Kendrick

Family, my heart is heavy with the loss of Mr.Dick. Your dad, husband, grandfather, has left such a wonderful legacy through the life he led serving our Heavenly Father. I lost my mom end of May and I do feel your pain. Your dad also like my mom had memory issues. We have comfort from the Father knowing they are sitting at a table with our King. I can see your father playing the dulcimer and my mom and he singing I fly away old glory literally. This will be a hard Christmas for your family as well as mine for there will be a empty seat at both our tables. But we can rejoice for where they are and as soon as our Heavenly Father comes we will be sitting and singing with them also. I will have your family in my thoughts as you please remember us as well.
Your mom and dad are a wonderful blessing to each person they have touched.
With much love to you all Sharon
