Obituary of William F. Burns

Funeral service for William F. “Bill” Burns, Jr. 75, of Munford, will be Sunday at 2:00 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Rev. Gary Wyatt and Rev. Trull Hill will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mr. Burns passed away December 6, 2012 at Princeton BMC. Bill was a native of Carrabelle FL and lived in Munford since 1982. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired from Anniston Army Depot. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lillie Burns, sister, Betty Bellamy and a granddaughter. Mr. Burns is survived by his wife Ida Laura Burns, children, Jeff Camp (Sharron), Beth Cheeks, Elisa Gitan (Mark), Jeremy Camp (Becky), Fleur Burns-Tomlin (Bryan), grandchildren, Josh Cheeks (Erin), Caleb Camp, Taylor Cheeks Jordan (Zack), Ryan Tomlin, Lauren Camp, Jordan Camp, Izabella Camp, River Rosie Tomlin, great-grandchildren, Marcus Cheeks, Miya Cheeks, sister, Bobbie Walker (Russell), brother-in-laws, Jack Bellamy, Jimmy Banks (Cindy). Pallbearers will be Josh Cheeks, Caleb Camp, Zack Jordan, Chad Basinger, Joe Patterson, and Donald Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Oak Grove Baptist Men’s Sunday School Class.
