Bos'n Ed Lackey was a talented officer, an amazing, results-oriented leader, a great shipmate, and a good friend of more than forty years. He was one of those people whom one never forgets. I often remember him with great respect and high regard. My sympathies to Virginia, Jamie, and all the family. You can be very proud of what Ed represented and how he lived his life. Best Regards, W.
