To Karen and the entire Skidmore family, I was so saddened to learn of your loss. When I think back to some of my fondest childhood memories, Mrs. Skidmore is there, always smiling, always kind. To this day, every time I do some house cleaning, I remember (with admiration and respect!) the discipline she displayed keeping her own house clean and how every Saturday, we had to wait for Karen to do her chores before she could come play. And of course the vacation to Florida with The Skidmore Family when I was 14 will forever remain one of the happiest memories of my life. I often think back to that time and the happiness that memory still brings me is an ever constant gift. And always at the helm was Mrs. Skidmore. Everyone who knew her was blessed and the girl I once was from Kettering, Ohio will never forget her. Sending love and wishing you all peace, Laura

Dear Karen, Ben, Maurice and Mr. Skidmore, I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I have such wonderful memories of Mrs. Skidmore. She was always smiling, laughing and always so very, very sweet. I know she will be so greatly missed. The video was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I will keep you all in my heart and prayers. I feel lucky to have known her. Cheryl
