Name:Mr. David Peter Fletcher Age:69 Residence:Ragland AL Date of Death:Thursday, March 22, 2012 Place of Death:Birmingham Background:Mr.Fletcher was a retired US Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. and Vietnam Veteran with 30 years of service. He then worked as Maintenance Manager for the Ragland Housing Authority for 25 years. He was an avid commercial catfisherman and a member of Hardin's Chapel Bible Church. He was married for almost 42 years and was a very loving husband, father, brother, and friend. Survivors:Wife: Vonneva Paige Bunt Fletcher, Daughter: Sarah Michael (Steve) St. Clair of Armuchee, GA, Son: Darrell (Stephanie) Fletcher of Prattville, AL, Sister: Mary Fletcher Allen of Orlando, FL, Brothers: John Fletcher of Tallahassee, FL, Mark Fletcher of Tallahassee, FL, Grandchildren: Andrew, Shiloh, Baron, & Nolan, Numerous nieces & nephews Service:Graveside Sunday, March 25, 2012 2:00 P.M. Clergy:Rev. Doug Ford Cemetery:Macedonia Baptist Cemetery Visitation:The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City.
