Obituary of Ralph Finn

Ralph Hutchinson “T-Model” Finn, 82, of Alpine passed on to his heavenly home December 20, 2013 at Regional Medical Center. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 12:00 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel of Talladega. Dr. William Maynor will officiate. His family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 until service time. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Ira F. and Lizzie Giddens Finn along with seven brothers and six sisters-in-law. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Dollye Carr Finn, sons, Sherman (Allison) Finn and Scottie Finn, granddaughters, Joni and Autumn Finn, great-grandson, Joshua Waites, sister-in-law, Sarah Finn, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who were all very dear to him. He was a lifelong resident of Talladega County, retired from construction work but always found time to garden, share his bounty, and help a friend in need. HE was an active member of Salem Presbyterian Church, an elder, and always cared about the upkeep of the grounds and cemetery.
