Obituary of Paul M. Davis

Funeral service for Paul Milton Davis, 53, of Talladega will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 am. Rev. R. Hal Painter and Dr. George Ricker will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. His family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mr. Davis passed away December 19, 2014 at his home. He is survived by his wife Kelli A. Davis, parents, Joe and Yvonne Davis, mother –in-law, Priscilla Arnold, daughters, Holly (Jason) Painter, Kimberly Weathers, sons, Jamey (Bethany) Davis and Brett Davis, grandchildren, Hannah Parker, Dakota Davis, Joseph Weathers, Jacob Painter, Braedyn Davis, Jaidyn Davis, Daniel Weathers, Eli Painter and Evan Davis, and several nieces and nephews. Paul was a native and longtime resident of Talladega. He worked 30 years at the State of Alabama Department of Transportation and 5 years for Northstar EMS. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He loved Dirt Track racing and NASCAR, along with hunting and fishing. Pallbearers will be Nick Kennedy, Deion Smoot, Anthony McKenzie, Jody Robbins, Leon Thomas, Ron Guy, Lamar Edwards, and Brice Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Alabama DOT 4th division District 5 Active and Retired and Northstar EMS. Special thanks to Dr. Black, Dr. Beck, Round table at Tina’s Home Cooking, Donna and Leon Thomas and Shirley Headrick and Gloria Patton of Hope Hospice.
