Mr. Barton is survived by his wife: Gail Barton, 1 son: Dr. Dennis Barton,1 brother: Larry Barton(Mary),1 sister: Edith Bishop, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Barton was preceded in death by his parents: B. W. Barton and Gladys Ray, and a sister in law Joyce Williams, and brother in law Elvin Bishop. Mr. Barton passed away Friday December 13, at St. Vincents Hospital in Birmingham. He was a lifelong resident of Talladega, Veteran of the Korean Conflict,Member of Ridgeview Baptist Church, was retired from Anniston Army Depot in 1995, he also was an avid Alabama football and Atlanta Braves fan.
