Funeral services for Johnnie Arlene Mintz, 92, of Munford, will be Tuesday, November 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Munford Church of Christ. Jeff Clark and Richard O'Conner will officiate and burial will follow in Munford Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Monday at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega from 6-8 PM. She will lie in state Tuesday from 1-2 PM at the church. Mrs. Mintz passed away November 26, 2011 at NHC Healthcare. Mrs. Mintz was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. She was the oldest member of Munford Church of Christ along with a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Mintz, Sr. son, Johnny Ray Mintz and grandson, Hartley Mintz and numerous sisters and brothers. Her survivors include her daughters, Linda M. Jenkins, (Ray), Peggy Spurlin, (Craig), sons, Hoyt Mintz, Jr., Bradley Mintz, (Loretta) brother, Beryl Foshee, (Vivian), 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
