Funeral services for Shawn Alanson Big Al Shaw, 36, of Talladega, will be Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 11 am at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel of Talladega. Rev. Johnny Waites will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home.
Big Al fought a two year battle with cancer and passed away November 21, 2011.
He was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Wes Smith Appraisals.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jewel Anthony Shaw, grandparents, George and Laura Shaw and Glenn and Mabel Shoulders.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara S. Shaw, sister, Kathy Shaw, aunt and uncle, Jim and Gail Stock and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Casey Bice, Brody Barnett, Justin Chastain, Ryan Hughston, Robert Irwin, Tommy Lambert and Jeremy Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Kent Baggett, George Phillips, and Rick Phillips.
