Lamar tenderly and patiently cared for his wife who suffered from MS for many years. He was an avid gardener and farmer. He especially loved gourds and wildflowers. Lamar took delight in giving to others, often to people he had just met, to add a little cheer to their lives. Survivors include a daughter: Cindy Sanders, Brother: Buford (Margaret) Sanders, Sisters: Elaine (Buddy) Lee, Lynette Yates, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends Service:Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City Wednesday, November 23, 2011 11:00 A.M.
