Obituary of Bessie Mae Gable

Funeral service for Bessie Mae Gable, 68, of Talladega will be Thursday,
December 12, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Wewoka Church. Burial will follow in the
adjoining cemetery and Wayne Hammonds will officiate. Usrey Funeral
Home of Talladega will direct. Her family will receive friends Wednesday
from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gable passed away December 9, 2013 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Gable dedicated her life to caring for her family. She will be dearly missed and has gone home to
be with the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joesiah Weaver and Jane Byrd Weaver; brothers, Sanford Weaver and Hillard Lofton; sister, Lizzie
Bradley.
Her survivors include her husband and best friend of 47 years, Lee B.
Gable, Jr.; daughters, Janice Phillips, Nora Leach and her husband Quincy;
granddaughters, Kayla Phillips, Jessica Phillips, Abby Leach; grandsons,
Christopher Lee Phillips, Gavin Leach; nephew, Leslie Bradley Jr.; nieces,
Tammy Bradley, Cindy Sullivan, Donna Sims; and several dear cousins.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Lee Phillips, Quincy Leach, Davey Leach, Jody Sims, Mark Reaves, and Aaron Martin.
