Obituary of Dorothea L. Weaver

Her survivors include her daughters, Susan Hanvey (Rod), Lily Overton (Dyron), grandchildren, Hank Hayden (Catherine), Elizabeth Overton and Matthew Overton, 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Madison, sister, Sarah Stewart, brothers, Ed Deck (Peggy), Lloyd Deck (Rosa), sister-in-law, Dot Vance, along with numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be retired and present employees of Weaver and Sons Inc.Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin McRae, Dr. Joe Hare, Joe Woodard, Jack Klein, John Hackney, Tom Richardson, Jim Camp, Dr. Jimmy Davis.Mrs. Weaver was a native of Bristle TN and a long time resident of Talladega. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Talladega where she served in many capacities. She was a member of the Holly Garden Club, past member of Pilot Club and The Girl Scouts.Mrs. Weaver passed away November 5, 2011 at Citizen BMC. She is the widow of the late George L. Weaver. Rev. Bill Grandy and Rev. Ted Peterson will officiate.
