Dorothy Hunter, 80, of Talladega, passed away October 6, 2011 at BMC Citizens Hospital of Talladega. A memorial service will be announced at a later time. She was a native of Mobile, Alabama and a life long time resident of Orange Beach. She has been a resident of Talladega for the past 7 years. She was the owner/operator of Bay House Marina. Mrs. Hunter is survived by her son: Eric Hunter, grandchildren: Jennifer Hunter Phillips of Oswego, New York, and Shelley Hunter Cimirrosa of Hammond Oregon, 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Gaston T. Hunter. Special thanks to all of her caregivers at The Gardens of Talladega. They were known as her “Shugs”.
