Granny, it is almost 3 years since you were called home. I have been to Talladega several times since then and your house looks so empty without you sitting on the front porch. I owe you my childhood and my adult life for what you meant to me. Always will you be missed. Lewis Jr.

To My family, Your in thoughts and prayers. Even though I did not meet "Punk" personally, my daddy (Richard E. McDowell) talked of her often and shared many stories. I know that she was a wonderful lady, full of life and spunk and touched many hearts. I pray that you share your memories and stories through laughter, love and tears.
