Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of September 22, 2010, Charlotte Raye Putman Grogan, widow of Charles Walter Grogan of Summerville, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Charlotte Raye Putman Grogan are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Saturday, September 25, 2010, at eleven o’clock. Interment will take place on Monday morning, September 27, 2010, ten o’clock at Pine Hill Memorial Park, Talladega, Alabama with Usrey Funeral Home officiating. Friends may call at Stuhr’s Northwoods Chapel on Friday between five and seven o’clock. Mrs. Grogan was born on July 27, 1941 in Martinsville, VA the daughter of Willie Woodard “WW” Putman and Ethelda Lorraine Tilley Putman. She was a retired receptionist for Heartland Health Care Center and a member of Northwood Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa C. Cavadias and her husband Edward of North Charleston, SC and Sunny L. Wimpee and her husband David of Summerville, SC; grandchildren: Brianna DiAsio and her husband Kristoffor, Garrett Wimpee and Heather Wimpee all of Summerville, SC.
