Mr. Ellis Aaron Smith, Sr. (Sonny/Odie), a resident of Childersburg, AL, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on September 16, 2011. He was 69.
Mr. Smith was born on December 27, 1941 to the late Ruby Carl and Velma Elizabeth Sublett Smith. He was a union Ironworker, retired from Local 92, Birmingham, AL.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson's, Tyler Smith and Brandon Reid.
He is survived by his wife Anne Marie, Children, Tracy Lynn and Stan Lockridge, Ellis Aaron Smith, Jr., and Deb, Sunny Elizabeth and Franklin Riddle, Robert Brent Smith and Elizabeth, His Brothers and Sisters Robert Carl and Yvonne Smith, Betty Jean and Edward Lee, Gail Sharlyn and David Lambert, His Grandchildren Preston and Kalin Reid, Wyatt and Peyton Reid, Several Nieces and Nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews.
